General Description: FDC Series 2800/2850 is a metallized polyester with a mirror finish. This product
has both the brilliance and luster of a bright metal finish and is ideal for window
and automotive graphics.
Colors: Available in silver and gold. (Note exceptions in durability of colors)
Surface/Finish: Mirror.
Applications: Flat or simple curves. Ideal for decorative trim, nameplates, and many more
applications that require a mirror finish.
Adhesive: Permanent, clear, acrylic, pressure sensitive.
Adhesion: 180∞ Peel, substrate stainless steel, 1 min = 2.5 #/in., 15 min = 3.0 #/in, 24 hrs =
4.0 #/in. Always pretest your specific substrate prior to actual application.
Thickness: Face film = 2.0 mil. Film and adhesive = 3.0 mil.
Liner: 78 lb. White liner.
Weeding & Cutting: Excellent.
Chemical Resistance: Resistant to mild acids, alkalis and salt solutions.
Dimensional Stability: Excellent. Determined by measuring shrinkage on unprinted film applied to 6? x
6? aluminum test panel after 72 hours aging at 73∞F/50% R.H. followed by 48
hours at 150∞.
Service Temp Range: -40°F to 257°F.

Application Temp: 50∞F.

Note: Exceptions in durability

2 years for silver, when properly processed and applied (vertical exposure,
unprinted film). Gold is not recommended for exterior use.
Shelf Life: 1 year, when stored under 73°F and 50% relative humidity.
Converting Methods: Steel Rule Die Cutting, Guillotine Cutting. Always test prior to production.
