General Description: FDC Series 2500/2550 High Performance, Translucent Cast Vinyl films are a premium quality and flexible film especially suited for graphic applications involving flexible and rigid backlit signage and awnings along with windows and wall graphics. This series is engineered with excellent weathering and aging characteristics. Colors: Variety of colors, formulated to maintain consistent color under reflected and transmitted lighting conditions. Applications: Flat and simple curves. Adhesive: Permanent, clear, acrylic pressure-sensitive. Typical Adhesion Values: 180° Substrate: 1min. 15min. 24hrs Stainless Steel 2.0lb/in 2.2lb/in 3.0lb/in Note: Always pretest your specific substrate prior to actual application. Thickness: Face film = 2.3 mil. Film and adhesive = 3.3 mil. Liner: 78 lb. (white) bleached kraft. Weeding/Cutting: Excellent. Chemical Resistance: Good resistance to most petroleum based oils, greases and aliphatic solvents. Resistant to mild acids, alkalis and salts. Dimensional Stability: 158 °F (70°C), 48 hours Service Temp Range: -40°F to 200°F 40°C to 95°C Minimum App Temp: 60°F on a clean surface Outdoor Durability: 7 years, when properly processed and applied (vertical exposure, unprinted film). Outdoor durability may be reduced by extreme climate exposure. Shelf Life: 1 year, when stored under 73°F and 50% relative humidity. Should be stored free from excessive moisture, temperatures, direct sunlight Elongation: >150% Installation: For best results on large continuous-color signs, be sure to utilize material from identical rolls on the same sign face to assure perfect color reflection and transmission across the sign face.
