General Description: FDC Series 3802/3852 This Iridescent Films features a new dimension in color
styling, which provides outstanding chromaticity and vivid color shift as the
viewing angle is changed. FDC?s Iridescent Films can be used for decorative
decals, accent striping, and die-cut parts for automotive, marine, and
recreational vehicle markets.
Colors: Available in a variety of opaque solid colors. Call your FDC sales rep for a color
chart.
Thickness: 2.0 mil. With adhesive 3.0 mil
Surface/Finish: High gloss, premium, cast vinyl film.
Application Surface: Flat, Flat with Rivets, Rivets and Corrugations.
Adhesive: Permanent, acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Adhesion: 180∞Peel
Substrate 1min. 15min. 24hrs.

Note: Always pretest material on your specific substrate.

Liner: 78# Kraft
Dimensional Stability: Less than .02? (both on liner and applied to aluminum). Determined by
measuring shrinkage of film applied to 36? sq. aluminum test panel after 72 hours
aging at 73º F and 50% R. H. followed by 48 hours at 150º F.
Elongation: 50% Minimum
Outdoor Durability: 5 years when properly processed and applied (vertical exposure, unprinted film).
Chemical Resistance: Resistant to most petroleum based oils, greases and aliphatic solvents. Resistant
to mild acids, alkalies and salts.
Service Temp Range: -20°F to 200°F (Reasonable range of temperatures which would be expected
under normal environmental time and temperature conditions).
Minimum App Temp: 40∞F
Shelf Life: 1 year when stored at temperatures under 73∞F and 50% R.H.
